It’s taken me nearly all week to get the latest vlog published due to a dodgy signal but hey ho. The joys of boating along with cruising and it’s too hot to do anything. We saw an update on the Erewash and it had been closed for a few days again which isn’t surprising due to what it was like when we came down and also how hot it’s been. I’m not sure how much it effects the levels but heat like we have had cannot have helped. I’m so glad we decided to leave when we did otherwise we wouldn’t have made it in time and enjoyed some lovely cruises.
This morning Chris fills the boat with water, empties the toilet and generally gets the boat ready for me as he’s flying to Ibiza later tonight so I am boat alone! It’s not the first time but last year when he was away I was at work so didn’t really get to enjoy my time. I cannot wait to finally catch up!
After he leaves I set to trying again to get my vlog uploaded and finally manage it. I uterlise my time by cleaning the oven and fridge/freezer as well as faffing which also included spraying the windows with spider spray. Normally Chris’s job is to remove the spiders but as he’s not here I’m seeing if this spray works by keeping some of them out. Honestly, last night when I looked out just before it went dark there were so many on the boat next to us! I generally don’t mind them ((Other than the other night when one dangled down right into your face!)) don’t remind me again. 60 foot of boat and it chooses where I am sitting!
It’s 21.29 and I’m watching Murder by Numbers; fab film with Sandra Bullock whilst I have a bit of a signal I’m uploading videos into Canva so I can create my next vlog and get ahead. Even though I’ve been writing my blog every day I still lose track of the days ((I’m mean, who knew??)) . Tomorrow is Monday and as I’ve said before I used to work in education and September is always the most stressful of months and I’m taking a moment to enjoy the fact that even though I’m ‘working’ ((Come on Peachy! Working!)) pretty much all of the time on something, I bloody love it!
I have to live it before i can film it, write it, edit it and publish it right 😉
