Tuesday 24th October – Day 100
Day 100! Wow how quick has that gone? Cannot believe we have been cruising the cut so long. Today we wandered into Penkridge and what a lovely place it is. Then it’s back to the boat and I crack on with editing as a few days cruising soon mounts up the vlogs and the days and weeks seem like they are all merging into one. It’s make no wonder i don’t know what day it is when i’m working on my blog in real time then editing it a week behind then the vlogs are being uploaded in real time but edited in the past ((You’re no the only one confused!)) My friend only came to visit on Saturday and it feels like it was weeks ago! Very strange getting used to not having a fixed timescale or routine like you have when working at a fixed place, living in a fixed place and having a routine

After living in various parts of the UK, including Wakefield, York, Derby, and the Yorkshire Dales, I now live on a Narrowboat cruising the canal network. I enjoy reading, writing, travelling, walking, kayaking, watching all forms of motorbike racing and socialising (networking).

In 2021 I joined Saga Fiction and now have three stories published on their app; A Christmas Wish, Decisions, Decisions, and A night lost to the past. Power of Nature a thriller/mystery novel is available on eBook. Finding Love, is my latest romance/rom-com novel and is available as an eBook and paperback on Amazon.
I’m part of a wonderful writing group based in Newark; The Fosseway Writers and have stories in various anthologies including; The Brinwade Chronicles, which is a collection of 28 Gothic stories by 13 writers. Burning Old School Ties, Blood, Sweat and Typewriters and our latest book, Writings on the Walls, Available on Amazon.
In February 2019 I was lucky enough to travel to New Zealand. During my time exploring this wonderful part of the world I kept a journal and this became 187 Kilometres, turn left – which is a guide to our 43-day bucket list adventure. Available on Amazon.
