Saturday 20th January Day 182
I’m feeling very grumpy today which is a mixture of frustration because the book isn’t finished despite getting a bit more organised with it. ((You’re frustrated?? I’m about to log in and write it myself!)) I really need to put the book away and come back to it later but I don’t have that luxury as it needs to be in tomorrow. The deadline was yesterday but I begged a bit more time. I’m sure I could ask for more but it’s at the stage where it needs fresh eyes to see the mistakes once I’ve fleshed out the story.
The weather has changed a bit today and although it’s warmer, we cannot just have that, so it’s joined by the strong winds again! It’s quite disconcerting lying in bed listening to the boat rocking and the ice breaking against the bow and ropes squeaking against the top of the boat!
Again, another day of not much to report and I’m not feeling up to making conversation ((Oh, bloomin charming that is. Our readers who log in everyday to read your blog and you cannot be bothered. Well!)) I’ve always said this blog is ‘real life’ I’m not going to lie and say things are fabulous all the time when they are not. Real life does not work that way, sometimes for whatever reason, things don’t go right or you cannot get done what you want to do. I don’t think winter helps and I get frustrated when I want to do something but my body has other ideas. ((You’re such a drama queen Peachy. Woman up! Pull up your MASSIVE middle-aged menopausal big pants and crack on)) I’m trying Brackets. I’m trying.
Day done. x
