I’m celebrating 8 years of my blog and writing journey and I managed to tick off most of the things on my to do list from last month. ((I knew you wouldn’t get them all done!))
The Sixth Witch is finished. I will leave a link at the end of the blog. I really enjoyed writing this story and I’m sure one day I might come back to it, although I have another serial killer book I started years ago as well as a spy book I want to write! ((Calm down Peachy get on with your current thriller series and stop getting distracted!))
I will. News in a minute on that. We managed to get out for a cruise at the weekend, which was amazing. I cannot tell you how good it was to untie the ropes and get back on the cut. Not that we don’t love it here but a boat was made to move and so were we. The feeling of freedom and a different view was so special. At the end of this month we will have been on the boat for 4 years! How quick has that gone and what an adventure so far. With us both earning money, we are making this life work and could not be happier. ((well other than if you fund your Kickstarter campaign…)) Nice segue Brackets ((I know my business. My business is promoting you so you don’t close your blog and kill me. I’m not stupid. I don’t wanna be on your Kill List. Talking of that, do people know you’re adding them to your kill list?))
My Kickstarter campaign will be live on 28th May and running until 25th June the day after my birthday… ((Who knew?)) for those who haven’t heard of Kickstarter. It’s a way for creative people to raise funds to make a project come to life. In my case, my thriller series. I’ve spoken before about the costs involved in creating a quality book. The way Kickstarter works is that you pledge money – there are different pledges you can choose – with most of the options you receive a real book so you’re not just giving away your cash. If the project isn’t funded then they don’t charge you. ((Then Peachy has to go working the streets to fund the publishing of the series! Now that is a sight I think we all agree that no-one wants to see. If I had a face it would be scrunched up… shivers…))
The pre-launch page is live, it would be amazing if you could click on the ‘notify me on launch’ button as it will help more supporters find me and it doesn’t mean you’re committed to buying anything. I apologise if my social media is mainly sharing this content over the next few months. I only have one month to reach the pledge amount once it goes live, so your support by sharing or pledging to help make the first in my thriller series to come alive would be greatly appreciated. There will be some special edition hard back editions up for grabs, which is very exciting as it will be my first book to be published in hardback.
