Thursday 28th March Day 250
I am thinking of stopping my daily blogs… ((WHAT – not again?)) I’m just not sure they are interesting enough ((well, there is that?)) and maybe people are not reading them anymore. I know the time line is confusing as my social media is in real life, the blog is two weeks behind and vlogs usually the same. What does everything think? Would people prefer daily, weekly, monthly? ((Yearly??)) I will continue to write these as this is going to be the foundation of my canal book with added extras. Over to you…
Today is an example of why I’m not sure if it’s interesting enough to warrant a daily blog. We went for a walk along the very muddy towpath and the reverse of the walk we did last night. So, it was along the towpath, left at the tunnel, through the playground, past the village, ((Avoiding the pub)) down a long lane to find to find a no access sign to walk along the Ashby canal where we are moored. So it was back down the long lane, past the village ((Still avoiding the pub)) through the playground, right at the tunnel ((Please go left). It would make it interesting if you swam through the tunnel) along the towpath and onto the boat and then I barely moved all day as was working at the dinette. So that’s day done. Oh, other than the fact we emptied the toilet ((Too much information)) I really would be interested to know what you think? 😊 Day done. Until tomorrow. x

After living in various parts of the UK, including Wakefield, York, Derby, and the Yorkshire Dales, I now live on a Narrowboat cruising the canal network. I enjoy reading, writing, travelling, walking, kayaking, watching all forms of motorbike racing and socialising (networking).
At the beginning of my writing journey, I started my blog which tracks the ups and downs of writing. ((I need to mention that my blog posts are usually visited by ‘Brackets’!))
To the books…
My fantasy series, Festival of Time was completed with the publication of Book Three: Battle in November 2022 and now joins, Book Two: Rescue, and Book One: Escape. Click ‘books’ on my website to find out more and follow me on social media for updates – I love chatting with readers and authors.

Hi Clair! Personally, I’d probably read the blog more at a weekend maybe. I get so many emails that in the week I tend to delete a lot of them. Plus I know what you’re up to from your socials etc xx

Hiya, ah thanks. I just worry people get a bit bored ((you are boring!)) and they are a bit long and one every day in people’s inbox is a lot! Still getting plenty of views and new followers so that’s good. Will keep going. I have a book to write after all. Lol. Thanks for commenting xx
